Applications of the Circular Stapler:

A disposable circular stapler is used throughout the gastrointestinal tract for cutting and end-to-end, end-to-side, and side-to-side anastomoses. It cuts excess tissue by creating a circular anastomosis. It is used in intestinal, esophageal, and gastric surgeries to remove and excise sections of these organs.

It is used in surgeries for esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, small bowel cancer, colon cancer, and colorectal cancer. It features a 180-degree viewing angle, an adjustable tissue-gap window with a firing range of 1.0–2.5 mm, and a larger proximal stapler lumen to help prevent stenosis and tissue injury and facilitate removal of the circular stapler after anastomosis.
